- Morning departure to Plovdiv. Visit Bachkovo monastery (25 km from Plovdiv) situated in a splendid mountain area just in the beginning of the Rhodopi Mountains. Enjoy the unique frescoes in the refectory dating to 1623.

- Continue to Plovdiv. Lunch in a traditional restaurant. Here you will have a will have a big choice of typical Bulgarian food and homemade dishes.

 - Sightseeing tour of the Old part of Plovdiv. The most impressive building of Roman time that has come to us rising above the city is the Antique Amphitheatre by Emperor Mark Avrelii during the 2nd c. A.D. Its magnificent arcade adorned with marble statues is simply breath-taking. Theatre and opera performances are still staged here on warm summer nights. The Roman Stadium is also constructed during the II century and reproduces the layout in Delphi, Greece. The Old Plovdiv nowadays is an original living museum, an architectural phenomenon.

- Visit the Oslekov's House, Kableskov’s house and the house of the most romantic Bulgarian writer Dimtcho Debelyanov. Have a walk on cobblestone streets, winding between high white stone walls and gardens full of greenery.

- Lunch in a restaurants with traditional local dishes.

- In the afternoon – departure to Sofia.

- Morning departure to Veliko Tarnovo - the medieval capital of Bulgaria - on of the most authentic towns in the country with more than 7000 years of history. The houses, stacked one above the other, situated on the slopy hills of the town show a remarkable, unique architectural style.

- Visit “Tsarevets” fortress, a mediaeval stronghold located on a hill with the same name. It served as the Second Bulgarian Empire's primary fortress and strongest bulwark from 1185 to 1393, housing the royal and the patriarchal palaces. 47 churches and 400 residential houses have been discovered in the whole complex.

- Departure to the village of Arbanassi, a charming village with an eventful history and fascinating architecture. Thirty six of its 80 houses and the five local churches have been declared national monuments of culture.

- Lunch in a traditional restaurant. Taste traditional Bulgarian food and local wine.

- Visit the church of Nativity with its extremely valuable frescoes dating to the 16^th century. By all means the church is called The Sistine Chapel on the Balkans.
