Enjoy this exciting city tour /by car/ where roads from all parts of the world have intersected from nearly 7,000 years. People have come and gone, civilizations have risen and fallen, but the city has remained. Today modern Sofia comprises more than 250 historic, archaeological and architectural landmarks. The remains of solid fortress walls and splendid palaces, mosaics in public baths and marble columns of administrative buildings are still part of Sofia. We will start our tour with visit to the St. Nedelya Church, then continue to The Parliament square, The Presidency, we will see the National Theatre, the Ruins of Serdica, the St. Rotonda Church dating back from 4th c. AC and the Russian Church "St Nikolay". We will continue with visit to the St. Sophia early Christian basilica which has given the city its name. Just in front of it is located The Cathedral of St. Alexander Nevsky where will visit also its crypt which is a genuine treasure trove of medieval Bulgarian art. Few steps ahead is situated the building of the Parliament and the Statue of Tzar Liberator.
