Day  1 – Arrival at Sofia airport. Transfer to the hotel. Sofia sightseeing tour. Accommodation in Hotel Budapest***.

Day 2 – Departure to Melnik. Visit Rojen Monastery. In the evening – performance of traditional songs and dances by a proessional folklore group. Accommodation in Hotel Despot Slav***.

Day 3 – Departure to Bansko. Brief tour of the town. Continue to Dobarsko village. Participating in cooking Bulgarian dishes and traditional crafts lessons. Accommodation in a traditional  guest house.  

Day 4 – Departure to Rila Monastery. Visit the monastery. Continue to Plovdiv. Accommodation. Dinner in a traditional restaurant with a folklore program. Accommodation in Hotel Romantica***.

Day 5 – Morning visit to Bachkovo Monastery. In the afternoon – tour of the Old Town of Plovdiv. Dinner. Overnight. 

Day 6 - Departure to Kazanlak. Visit the Thracian tomb (4c B.C.) and the Museum of the Rose. Continue to Etara – an open-air museum. Accommodation in a traditional house in Kmetovtsi village. Dinner in a traditional ambiance.  

Day 7 – Morning visit to Bojentsi village with its local shops and traditional products. In the afternoon – lessons for preparing Bulgarian yogurt and traditional “banitsa” (a kind of salty pastry). Dinner.

Day 8 – Departure to Tryavna. Short tour of the town. Continue to Veliko Tarnovo. Visit to “Tsarevets” fortress and one of the most significant churches. Departure to Arbanassi (4 km). Visit Church of Nativity and Konstantsaliev's House. Accommodation in Hotel Gurko***.

Day 9 –  Departure to Koprivshtitsa. On the way – visit Troyan Monastery and Oreshaka – permanent exhibition of articles and crafts from every region of the country. Continue to Koprivshtitsa. Accommodation in a traditional guest house. Dinner.

Day 10 – Departure to Sofia. Transfer to the Airport or the hotel. Read the full program
